Susan (Hiester)  McFarland

5/23/1846 - 5/14/1905

Mrs. Arch McFarland died of consumption at her home in Boundary City, Sunday morning at three o’clock, aged 58 years, 11 months, and 21 days. Her husband and six children survive her.

The funeral was held at Boundary, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Dinglefine. Burial at Boundary Cemetery.

Mrs. Susan Hiester McFarland died of consumption Sunday morning at half past three o’clock at her home, one-half mile east of Boundary. The deceased was a daughter of the late Daniel Heister. She was born May 23, 1846 in Pike Township and departed this life at her home near Boundary on May 14, 1905. She was aged 58 years, 11 months and 21 days and leaves six children, John Henry, Ithamer L., and Marquis L. of Boundary, Mrs. Louise Jane Bennett of South Portland, Joseph D. McFarland of Decatur and Mrs. Clara Alice Hargrove of Ridgeville, all of whom are living.

On October 8, 1865, she married Archibald McFarland. Funeral services were held in the Reformed Church at Boundary, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. E. Dingledine of Arcanum, Ohio.
