Jean K. (Grace) Missicano

Jean K. Missicano, 69, 228 E. Elder St., Portland, died Tuesday at Chateau Care Center, Muncie, following an extended illness.

A retired employee of Kerr Glass Manufacturing Corp.’s plant in Dunkirk, now Ball In-Con, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Portland. She worked at the glass plant more than 25 years, retiring in 1980.

Born Jan. 18, 1924 in Berne, she was the daughter of Elvin and Lillie (Hall) Grace. She was married on July 31, 1942 to Edward M. Missicano, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Carolyn) Lindhorst, Tuttle, Okla.; a son, Joseph M. (Monty) Missicano, RR 1, Redkey; three grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.Services will be held at 11 am Friday in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson Spencer Funeral Home with the Rev. Kris McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Boundary Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
