Helen C. Johnson, 74, RR 2, Portland, died Saturday at
her home.
Born December 26, 1919 in Jay County, she was
the daughter of Charles and Mary Ann (Betz) Davidson. She was married to
February 26, 1943 to Delbert Johnson who died October 19, 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Michael and Larry Johnson, both of Portland; one
daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jane Ann) Hogdson, Portland; two brothers, Victor
and Richard Davidson, both of Portland; three sisters, Dorothy Timmons,
Arlene Whitenack, and Jeanne Weaver, all of Portland; and three
grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 pm Wednesday in
the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with the Rev. Mike Harris
officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery.
Friends
may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday and prior to services
Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Shrine Crippled
Children’s Hospital.
