Clessie E. Wilson, 87, died Wednesday at Jay County Hospital. She was
born in Mt.
View, Ark. Her husband, Lester R., died in 1961. Surviving
are two sons, Lavon R.
Wilson of rural Portland and Garry D. Wilson of
Decatur; three daughters, Kathy
Rowles of rural Portland, Jan L. Wilson
of Portland and Betty Liechty of rural Geneva; a
brother, Elvis Broyles
of Mt. View, Ark.; a sister, Verla Broyles of Mt. View; eight
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at
Williamson
& Spencer Funeral Home, Portland Chapel. Calling from 3 to 8
p.m. today. Burial in
Center Cemetery, west of Portland. Memorials to
Portland Elderly Transportation Van.
