Funeral services for Arden McCurdy, 74, will be conducted at the Baird Chapel at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will be in the Finch Cemetery near New Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. McCurdy died this morning at 1:30 o’clock at his home nine miles southwest of Portland in Jefferson Township.
Surviving are five children: Edward McCurdy of Cleveland; Ray McCurdy of Redkey; Margaret Sampson of Bradford, O.; Hattie Sipe and Dollie Elliott of Ridgeville; the widow, Sarah E. Henlzer and three step-children, William Henlzer and Mrs. Charles Funk of Winchester and Homer Henlzer of Jefferson Township.
