HOWARD P. GUNTLE, 82, died Sunday at Meadowvale Health Care Center, Bluffton. Born in Marshal County, he was a self-employed painter and a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are three sons, Larry of Portland, Howard of Pennville and Daniel of Poneta; four daughters, Mary Meyers of Poneta, Judy Hough of Geneva, Marjorie Hickey of Bluffton and Beverly Hodge of Portland; a brother, John Best of Portland; a sister, Vivian Landers of Portland; and several grandchildren.
Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland. Calling from 3 to 8 p.m. today.
Burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant. Memorials to Wells County Cancer
Society.
