Morris Bowsman, Horseman, Dies; Rites Thursday
Morris P. Bowsman, 74 of S. Merdian St., died Monday vening at 9:45 at the
Jay County Hospital where he had been a patient for several weeks.
Mr. Bowsman, a retired race horse trainer, was born July 21, 1875 in
Randolph Co., the son of Noah and Joanna (Richeson) Bowsman.
Surviving are one sister, Nancy E. Long of Portland, Ore., and several
nieces and nephews. Three brothers and one sister are deceased.
The body was removed to the Williamson Funeral Home where services will be
conducted Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Eger
officiating. Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery.
