William Humphries, 68, a former Jay County resident, brother
of Mrs. Harriett Allspaw, Berne, died Friday evening in a Dallas, Tex.,
hospital following an extended illness. He had lived in Dallas for the past
few years.
Surviving are his wife, one son, two
daughters, one brother, four sisters, and eight grandchildren.
Masonic graveside services were held at 10 a.m. today in Green Park
Cemetery, with Pastor Darrell Taggart officiating. The Baird-Freeman Funeral
Home, Portland, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials
may be made to the Session Memorial Fund of the Chapel Hills Presbyterian
Church, Dallas, Tex.
