Judy Redwine, age 73, a resident of rural Portland, passed away on Sunday
August 25, 2019 at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland.
Judy was born
on December 20, 1945, in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Claude and Cleta
(Caldwell) Rector. She worked for Createc in Portland, JRDS in Portland and
the Jay County School Corporation. Judy was a member of Collett Church of
the Nazarene and was a volunteer for over 20 years for the Jay County
Special Olympics.
Judy married John Redwine, Jr on October 9, 1982
and he passed away on November 30, 2018.
Survivors include:

sons: Rob Bowen – Dunkirk, Indiana
John Redwine III (wife Glenna) –
Muncie, Indiana
2 daughters: Lisa Bowen – Portland, Indiana
Tanya Bennett (husband Wes) – Noblesville, Indiana
6 grandchildren,
and 2 great grandchildren including Hayden Hale.
She was preceded in
death by a granddaughter Marisa Kimble and a daughter-in-law Leanne Bowen.
Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at
Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland Indiana. Funeral
services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Billy Stanton
will officiate the services and burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery in
Portland.
Memorials may be directed to the Jay County Special
Olympics.
