PORTLAND: Ruth M. Via, 90, died Sunday in Community Care Center West
Nursing Home. Her husband, Walter E., died in 1977. Surviving are a
son, William H., of Portland; a daughter, Juanita Mays, of Portland; and
five grandchildren. Services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Portland
Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home; calling 2 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials to Jay County Cancer Fund or Bellfountain United Methodist Church.
