Portland, Feb. 27 –
D. Ward Bell, 86, Jefferson Township farmer, died at noon today at the
Portland Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Survivors are a
daughter, Mrs. Thelma Hampson, Jefferson Township; a son, S. K. Bell,
Indianapolis; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Friday at the Baird Funeral Chapel by
the Rev. J. H. Nall. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
