Marie V. Jones, 83, Portland, a native of Decatur, died Thursday morning
in Jay County Hospital, Portland, following a brief illness.
The
widow of Marshall Jones, she was born Sept. 10, 1903, in Decatur, the
daughter of Daniel and Ona Haines Uhrick. She was a member of the Eagles
Lodge of Portland.
Surviving is a granddaughter, Janine Dolence,
Woolhaven, Mich.
Services will be held at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Rev. Glenn Sprouls officiating. Burial
will be in Green Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
