Harriett L. Kunce age 78, of Portland, passed away early Saturday August
8, 2020 in the IU Jay County Hospital. She was born in Elkhart County,
Indiana on June 30, 1942 the daughter of Hubert and Jessie (Baker) Yoder.
She was married on September 22, 1962 to Gerald Kunce and he passed away on
July 18, 2014. She was an interior decorator and member of the Delta Theta
Tau Sorority. She was a active member Asbury United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons Jeff Kunce (wife Ann) of Anderson and Greg Kunce
(wife Relda) of Portland, Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held Friday August 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Boggs presiding. Burial will
follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 –
5:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church
