Portland – Bert M. Loyd, 87, died at 12:30 am Saturday at Community Care East Nursing Home, Portland. He retired in 1970 from Portland Forge. His wife, Wilma, died in 1973.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald of Fort Wayne and George W. of Portland; two daughters, Virginia Zimmerman of Portland and Mary Ann Stolz of Portland; and 17 grandchildren.
Services at 11 am Tuesday at Portland Chapel of Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. Calling from 2 to 8 pm Monday and 8 am until time of services on Tuesday. Memorial service at 8 pm Monday by I.O.O.F. Lodge of Portland at the funeral home. Burial in Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
