Fred G. Parr, 60, 3100 U. S. 27, 168
Keystone Terrace Haines City, Florida, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, March 22,
1995 at the hospital in the Winterhaven Hospital in Winterhaven, Florida.
Mr. Parr had been a longtime Jay County resident before retiring in Florida.
He was born in Adams County, Indiana April 13, 1934, the son of Louis and Eugina (Honeycut) Parr. He was married on December 22, 1958 to Flora Hernandez who survives. He was a graduate of Geneva High School and retired from International Harvester, in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1984.
He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post
211 and the Portland Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife Flora; 3
sons, Frank Parr of Butler, IN, Faron Parr of Portland and Fayne Parr of
Mulberry, FL; a daughter, Freida Parr of Los Angeles, CA; a brother, Jerry
Parr of Berne; and 8 grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, March
26, in the Baird & Freeman Funeral home in Portland, IN. Burial will follow
in the Green Park Cemetery.
