Brother of Geneva resident dies at 61

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. this morning at the Holy Trinity Catholic church, Trinity, Ind., for Ralph M. Muhlenkamp, 61, of Celina, O., a former Berne employee and brother of Cornelius Muhlenkamp, Geneva.

He died at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Community hospital, Coldwater, O., of pneumonia, a complication resulting from 2 ½ months illness.

He was born Aug. 2, 1913 in Mercer county, O., the son of the late Henry and Frances Hess Muhlenkamp. He married Juletta Wenning Nov. 26, 1938 in Philothea, and she survives with his stepmother, Mrs. Leona Muhlenkamp, Celina, O.; four children; Mrs. George (Alma) Zibrun, Romeoville, Ill.; Mrs. John (Margie) Ronnebaum, Chickasaw, O.; Mrs. Eddie (Esther) McElroy, Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind.; and Tom Muhlenkamp, Coldwater, O.; nine brothers and sisters; Mrs. Herman (Vera) Dietring, Tucson, Ariz.; Cleo, Harold, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Kriegel and Mrs. Richard (Doris) Moeller, all of Celina; Victor, Fort Recovery; Cornelius, Geneva, Ind.; Paul, Coldwater and Urban, Cartagena; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers, and two grandchildren.

Mr. Muhlenkamp retired last June due to ill health from the Berne Furniture Store, Berne, Ind. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Trinity, Ind., it’s St. Joseph Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
