Mrs. Kikendall taken by death
Mrs. Elizabeth
Fuhrman-Kikendall, 53, of Portland, widow of Leonard Kikendall and a former
resident of Preble, died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday noon, and was
dead on arrival at the Jay county hospital.
She was a graduate of Decatur high school, and lived in Preble until her
marriage, when she moved to Portland.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Weldon (Maureen) White of Portland; a son, Jack K. Kikendall of Portland; a
brother Thurman Fuhrman of Fort Wayne; a sister, Mrs. Wally (Mary) Durr of
Preble; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday at the Baird-Freeman funeral home in Portland. Friends may call at
the funeral home until time of the services.
