Heather Burgess, age 30 a resident of Redkey passed away Saturday, March
11, 2017 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a graduate
of Stratford University where she earned her degree as a Certified Nursing
Assistant.
Heather was born August 11, 1986 in Hartford City,
Indiana the daughter of Richard and Pamela (Geesaman) McEwen. She was
married August 13, 2016 to Dean Lucas Burgess.

Visitation
will be held from 5-8pm Tuesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home
in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in
the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Steve Rogers
will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Little Salamonia
Cemetery southeast of Portland.

County Humane Society or Jay County Special Olympics
