Mary M. Arnold, age 83, a former Redkey resident, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Dunkirk.
Mary was born on June 3, 1934, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Aubrey and Mary (Bousman) Jones-Hathaway. She worked for Community Care West in Portland and retired from Center of Hope in Union City, Ohio. She was a member of the Fort Recovery United Methodist Church and the Portland Moose Auxiliary. She married Calvin J. Arnold on November 27, 1952, and he passed away in 2005.

Fritz (husband Robert) – Greenville, Ohio
Mary Hall (husband Bill) – Redkey, Indiana
Michele Markin (husband Brian) – Piqua, Ohio
2 sisters:
Nancy St. Myers (husband Ralph) – Portland, Indiana
Debra Mann (husband Darrel) – Bradenton, Florida
22 grandchildren, 28
great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin J. Arnold, 1 daughter and son-in-law Carol and Harold Hall, 2 grandchildren Melissa Nickles and Bradley Hall and 1 brother James Jones.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, south-east of
Portland on the Jay/Randolph County Line.
