Imogene D. Bentz age 89, 100 Canterbury Lane Portland passed away Tuesday
morning in Albany Healthcare. She was born in Pennville March 1, 1929 the
daughter of Dennis and Flora (Shawver) Morgan. She was married January 21,
1956 to Marvin L. Bentz and he died September 1, 2013. She was a homemaker
and was a member of American Legion Aux., Moose Lodge and D.A.V. Aux.
Surviving are one daughter Diana Thompson of Cadiz, Kentucky, two
granddaughters and six great grandchildren
Funeral services will be
Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Don Zlaty
presiding. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Pennville. Visitation will
be Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Memorials can be made to choice of the
donor.
