Linda Wynona (Rogers) Kurut

   Linda Wynona (Rogers) Kurut joined the Lord on September 5th, 2018. Linda was born on May 31st, 1948 in Blackford County.

   Linda had a strong Christian faith that began at Olive Branch Church of the Nazarene in Hartford City. Linda enjoyed spending time in her gardens, visiting with family and friends, volunteering for the Salvation Army and local Animal Shelter, reading, laughing, and playing piano.

   Linda graduated from Montpelier High School in 1966.

   Linda dedicated several decades of service in nursing homes as a Dietician and Social Service professional.

   Survivors include: her three children, Mrs. Rachel (husband, Michael) Guerra of Geneva, Raymond (wife, Heather) Kurut of Chicago, and Philip (wife, Christina) Kurut of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren, Alexis Sedlmeyer of New Haven, Kelsey Smith of Decatur, Michaela Smith of Berne, Grace Guerra of Geneva, Ash and Jasmine Kurut of Fort Wayne, and, Ashley and Anastasia Kurut of Chicago; one great granddaughter, Josie Sedlmeyer of New Haven; brother, Harold (wife, Judy) Rogers of Hartford City; sisters, Mrs. Ray (Cathy E.) Nottingham of Hartford City, and Mrs. Dale (Karen) Pattison of Marion.

   Linda was preceded in death by: parents, Raymond and Jean Rogers; former husband, Samuel Kurut; and beloved, Bruce Willette.

   Visitation will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2-5PM.

   Memorial Service will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 1 PM, with viewing being held one hour before the service. Interment to follow service at Twin Hill I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville, IN.
