Doyle Williams age 88 of rural Portland passed away Friday January 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Waynedale, IN. on July 11, 1930 the son of Howard and Ettie (Ashley) Williams. He was married April 25, 1952 to Norma Bryan and she passed away August 17, 2013. He was retired from Teledyne Portland Forge and was a farmer.
Surviving are a daughter LaDonna Sain (husband Darren) of Portland. He was preceded in death by a grandson Ryan E. Williams on March 6, 2005. Also preceding him in death are six brothers Richard Williams, Vernie Williams, William Williams, Ned Williams, Roger Williams and Melvin Williams and two sisters Ioma Rathburn and Laura Glenn.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman
Funeral Home in Portland. Private burial services will be in the IOOF
Cemetery in Pennville. Memorials can be made to the Fred Lingo Scholarship
Fund.
