Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Jean Zigler, 31, Pennville, sister of
Mrs. Mike (Debbie) Hough, Geneva, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland. Rev. Louis Eugene Barrett officiated
at the services and burial followed in Twin Hills Cemetery, Pennville.
Mrs. Zigler died Monday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, from
injuries suffered in a car accident on Dec. 3, north of Dunkirk on Ind. 167.
She was a member of the Pennville Friends Church. A member of Pennville
Rebekah Lodge, she had served as past district deputy and was a past matron
of Pennville Order of Eastern Star.
She was born in Bluffton Oct. 21,
1944, the daughter of Russell and Louise Irwin-Downing, and on Dec. 6, 1962,
she was married to Bill Zigler, who survives.
Also surviving are two
children, Timmy and Shelly, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Clyde (Louise)
Beeler, Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Mike (Debbie) Hough, Geneva, and Mrs.
Jeff (Brenda) Elliott, Lisle, Ill.; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Delsie Creek,
Hartford City, and Mrs. Beryl Downing, Bluffton.
