Gerald L. Curtis, 60

Father of Jerry Curtis and Mrs. Kelly (Vickie) Kipp, both of Bluffton, Gerald L. "Jerry" Curtis, 60, of Dunkirk, died Friday afternoon, April 29, 2005, at his residence after an extended illness.

 He had worked at 3M in Hartford City. A graduate of Pennville High School in 1962, he served in the Army National Guard, from which he was discharged in 1965.

Born July 21,1944, in Portland, he was a son of Marion and June Mumford Curtis. His father is deceased. His mother, Mrs. June Taylor, survives at Dunkirk.

His marriage was on Nov. 2, 1963, to Donna Smith, who survives. Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Scott (Deanna) Pulley of New Castle; three brothers, Larry Foy and Ted Workman, both of Dunkirk, and Stan Workman of Fort Wayne, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Pennville Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Doll officiating.

Burial will be in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery, Pennville. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Services for Gerald L. "Jerry" Curtis, 60, died, 9201 West Ind. 26, Dunkirk, who died Friday at his home, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Portland Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Doll officiating. Burial wil be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.

Born in Portland on July 21, 1944, to Marion and June (Mumsford) Curtis, he graduated from Pennville High School in 1962. He married Donna Smith on Nov. 2, 1963, she survives.A former Army National Guard member, he worked at 3-M in Hartford City.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; a son, Jerry Curtis, Bluffton; two daughters, Mrs Scott (Deanna) Pulley, New Castle, Mrs. Kelly (Vickie) Kipp, Bluffton; his mother, June Taylor, Dunkirk; three brothers, Larry Foy, Dunkirk, Stan Workman, Fort Wayne, and Ted Workman, Dunkirk; five grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the family.
