Patty Jo (Stultz)Votaw

Patty Jo Votaw, age 85 a resident of Pennville passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton, Indiana. She was the Pennville Library librarian for 35 years. She was a member of the Pennville United Methodist Church, the Grange, Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Home Economics Club and EnEvant Society, all of Pennville. She received the Jane award through the Home Economics Club. She was also a board member of the Pennville Legion Lions Fair where she served as chairman of the Home Economics exhibit for several years.

Patty Jo Votaw was born July 27, 1931 in Pennville, Indiana the daughter of Charles and Audrey (Dugan) Stultz. She married Wendell Votaw on September 16, 1950 and he passed away on January 23, 2016.

Survivors Include:

1 Son- Stan Votaw (wife-Diane), Ft. Wayne, Indiana

2 Daughters- Sharon Ross, Pennville, Indiana

Glenda Majcher (husband-Joseph), Mechanicsville, Virginia

1 Brother- William Stultz (wife-Sandra), Jacksonville, Florida

6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 3-7pm Tuesday in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. An Eastern Star service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in the Pennville United Methodist Church. Pastor Gary Phillips will officiate the services and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Pennville United Methodist Church.
