Fleshers to Observe Golden Anniversary

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Flesher, Dunkirk, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 at their home.  The open house will be hosted by their daughters.

 

The couple was married Sept. 2, 1920, at Newport, Ky.  They have lived in Jay County all but 10 years of their married life.  Mr. Flesher is a retired farmer.

 

They are the parents of three children, Sheldon Flesher, Fitzgerald, Ga.; Mrs. Murray (Mildred) Payne, Muncie, and Mrs. Larry (Esther) Sharp, Albany.  They have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the open house on Sunday.  It is requested that gifts be omitted.
