Goldsmith Chandlee House

The 1838-41 old brick house in Pennville, was built by/for Goldsmith Chandlee, who came from Belmont, OH, to Camden/Pennville, in 1836. He was born in 1788 in Winchester, VA, to Goldsmith Chandlee, Sr. and Hannah Yarnell. Goldsmith and his wife, Phoebe Neill, left Winchester in 1818 and settled in Belmont. They were Quakers.
