wife Mary, dated September, 1838 recorded April 6, 1840, Children: Bethsheba Brandon, Elizabeth McClellan, Rhoda Hall, Elias, George, Evan he gets the big bible, Booth,John, Hannah Blankenship, James, Freeman, Amos, Joseph, Anderson, Nancy Parker's four childrem and a sum left them by their grandmother. Their relationship to Evan not state, Evan mentions his house an a lot in Paris deeded to him by Mr. Goodhue. He states that he has left a certain lot ot ground for a meeting house and burying ground contrary to the law of Indiana so now he leaves it to John Ballard, William McClellan and Abram Ridely elected Trustees of said meetinghouse and the burying ground for the use of the Methodist Protestant Church.

At the time the 1850 census for Jennings Co., IN was enumerated, seven year old Evan was living in the home of Isaac and Rhoda Hall and they were living next door to their son, Evan Hall. For lack of a better place to put the younger Evan, I have included him as one of the children of Evan and Mary until I can determine where he belongs.
