Arthur Pugh
Be it remembered on this 19th day of September 1862 the following will of Arthur Pugh was duly proven and admitted to Probate in the office of the clerk of the Jennings Court of Common Pleas which will is recorded in the following words to wit:
    "In the name of the Lord Amen
I Arthur Pugh of Vernon Township in the County of Jennings and State of Indiana Aug 5th in the year of our lord 1862 being feeble in body bu of sound mind and memory do make and order this my last will and Testament and do revoke all former wills made by me I give and bequeath to my nephews Arthur and George Pugh all my property both real and personal to be used in the education of said Arthur and George or so much thereof may be necessary, and the balance if there be any to given in equal shares to them. I further bequeath to Thomas Pugh their younger brother fifty dollars if so much can be spared to be used in education of said Thomas Pugh I further desire executor appropriate so much of my property toward the paying of William ____ for trouble during sickness and that I be decently buried ____ and that a plain tomb be erected over my remains.
    And I hereby appoint John McCarmon as my administrator by whom this testament is to be carried out. Witnesses Present George Noris Francis M. Symes
