This is a picture of Pike street in Vernon taken in 1906. Thanks to Kevin McCrory for allowing me to copy this as it is one I had not seen. Note the streets are dirt, 1st National Bank is on the corner that is now the Post Office. Only two buildings no longer exist. The building farthest from the camera has two signs on it one says L.D. Hamrick the other The Redman Hotel. The large sign painted on the center building is WAGNER & BROS & CO, HARDWARE FURNITURE.
