UNKNOWN PHOTO'S
These pictures
were in an Album purchased by the person who sent them to the Jennings County
site-they bought the Album but did not want the pictures so sent them to me to
see if I could find decendants of these people and return the pictures to them.
The only form of identification is the names Arthur T. and Bertha Lee on two of
the Photos, many were taken in North Vernon, Indiana, others in Columbus,
Indiana-Bloomfield, Indiana-Cincinatti, Ohio and Denver,
Colorado

can identify the two pictures that have "Mr. & Mrs. Lee, Bloomfield, Ind" on
them. They are the grandparents of Bertha Blackketter Lee. Arthur, Bertha's
husband, was a photographer. The lady is Talitha Jane Carney Reap and the
gentleman is her husband John Reap. Talitha was born 18 Dec 1824 in Jennings
Co., IN and died 09 Feb 1865 in Bartholomew Co., IN. She was the daughter of
Pleasant Carney and Elizabeth Emerson and the second wife of John Reap. John was
born 03 Sep 1813 in Clark Co., IN and died 24 Feb 1895 in Bartholomew Co., IN.
They are both buried in the Harmony Cem., Bartholomew Co., IN. They had seven
children: William Henry, Mariah Jane, Minerva C., Matilda A., Mary Aurelia, John
Franklin, and Minnetta Irene Reap. Mariah Jane Reap, who married John Wesley
Blackketter, is the mother of Bertha Blackketter Lee. I do not know the other
people."
