Frances Ellen MARKEY/WINE was born 27 December 1860 in Pierceton. She lived with her father and step-mother until she married John Robert WALKER on 2 Jan 1875; she had just turned 14, and he was nearly 30. They moved to Kansas in 1885 and had all kinds of adventures before Frances insisted that they return to Kosciusko County two years later. They lived in Warsaw. Their four children were: Anna, Cashie, Raymond and Francis Robert WALKER.
