John Robert WALKER, son of John Wesley and Gettey (DAVISON) WALKER, was born 2 March 1845 in Elkhart County, IN. His parents moved to Kosciusko County in 1855. John served in the Civil War, Company K, 129th Indiana Infantry Volunteers. He contracted tuberculosis and died in a sanitarium in Marion (Grant Co), IN on 31 May 1893.
