Dr. C. D. Driscoll is now forming his string of race horses for the season 1917 and in connection will operate a Public Training Barn for horses and colts regardless of age, guaranteeing best care and attention at prices consistent with the times. Dr. Driscoll wishes to state that this venture is not started as a money-making proposition but is strictly on behalf of the interests of the horse-loving people and the Lawrence Co. Agricultural and Driving Ass'n and our July and September races. He will have a corps of learned, even-tempered men in this work assisting and hopes to have a barn of sufficient number of good horses that it may reduce the cost of training per head.
