The marriage of Mr. Joseph Giles, Deputy County Clerk, and Miss Laura Lee, yesterday morning at nine o'clock, while not unexpected, was the cause of quite a stir and flutter among the young folks of Bedford, Indiana, as well as some of the middle aged. The high standing of the contracting parties and their exceeding popularity served to make the occasion the social event of the season. They were the recipients of many rare and costly presents. The newly married couple left soon after the wedding ceremony was over for the north and will spend several weeks in traveling through Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan.
