Gary L. Flynn of Springville, IN, died Saturday, January 2, 1999, at Bloomington Hospital.   Born on April 9, 1949, in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of George and Vida Marie (Bridges) Flynn.  He married Minnie Sue Childers, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Jennifer Todd of Bloomfield, IN; one son, Gary Lee Flynn of Bedford, IN; his mother of Springville, IN; two brothers, Lowell Flynn of Bedford, IN, and Anthony Flynn of Williams, IN; three sisters, Cherlyn Schneider of Youngstown, OH, Janice Banks and Gloria Phillips, both of Springville, IN; and one granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his father. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired worker at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center.  He was a member of the American Legion Gillen Post 33 and the Living Word Church. Services for Gary Flynn will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Revs. Cam Anderson and Jay Bennett officiating.  Burial will follow in Lowder Cemetery with military rites accorded by the American Legion.  Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the service time Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Vida Marie Flynn of Springville, IN, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.  Born on May 30, 1926, in Martin County, IN, she was the daughter of Winfred Wayne and Vida Mary Jane (Cornwall) Bridges.  She married George Flynn on January 31, 1942, and he died December 2, 1986. Surviving are three daughters:  Gloria Phillips and Janice Banks, both of Springville, IN, and Cherlyn Schneider of Youngstown, OH; two sons, Anthony Flynn of Williams, IN, and Lowell Flynn of Bedford, IN; two brothers, Ralph Bridges of Norman, IN, and Don Bridges of Mitchell, IN; two sisters, Sherry Peck and Elizabeth Burgess, both of Bedford, IN; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Gary Flynn; one grandson, Rocky Saunders; two brothers, Albert Ray & Winfred Wayne Bridges Jr. She was a homemaker  and member of Living Word Church. Services for Vida Flynn will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 30th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.  Burial will follow in Lowder Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service time on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
