Louie Dale Page of Springville, IN, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at his residence.  Born on January 22, 1925, he was the son of Richard and Odessa Page.  He married Elma Louise Flynn on July 2, 1942, and she survives.  Also surviving are five children:  Jerry D. Page, Danny L. Page and his wife Medy, and Robert L. Page, all of Springville, Mrs. Joe (Ladonna) Lake of Bedford, and Mrs. George (Susan) Rio of Oolitic;  two brothers:  Delbert Dean Page and his wife Rosemary of Valparaiso, and Jack Page of Oreana, IL;  twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, several brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and many, many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers:  Max and Lexxie Page, and one sister, Eunice June Ford. He was retired from CRANE Naval Surface Warfare Center police department and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II.  He was a member and pastorial assistant at the Paynetown Pentecostal Church. Services for Louie Dale Page will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2003, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Reverends Darrell Flynn and Ted Blaker officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Springville.  Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2003, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. TIMES MAIL David Eugene Phillips of Springville, IN, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at his residence.  Born on July 1, 1930, in Wayne County, KY, he was the son of Ben and Roxie (Bell) Phillips.  He married Janna Cobb on July 10, 1954, and she survives. Surviving with his wife are four sons:  David Phillips and his wife, Trish, of English, IN, Ricky Phillips and his wife, Donna, of Springville, IN, Mark Phillips and his wife, Sharon, of Springville, IN, Tracy Phillips and his wife, Pam, of Bedford, IN; two daughters, Beth Feldman and her husband, Dr. Mark Feldman, of Bedford, IN, and Terri Speer and her husband, Marty, of Oolitic, IN; his mother-in-law, Nancy Stout; one brother, Howard Phillips of Springville, IN; three sisters:  Aline Nelson of Houston, TX, Charlene Banks, and Alma Jones, both of Springville, IN; seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandsons.  He was preceded in death by six brothers:  Herbert, Stanley, R.C., Glen, Luther, and Joe Ray; and two sisters, Carrie Gregory and Opal Chattman. He retired as a welder for the Monon-CSX railroad in Bloomington and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Springville, a member of the Big Red One and the railroad union. Services for David Phillips will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23rd, at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Springville with Bros. Larry Hawkins, Marty Speer, and Jeremy Weddle officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with graveside military rites accorded by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33.  Friends may call from 1-9 p.m. Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church, and from 11 a.m. until the service time Wednesday at the church.

Joseph Ray Phillips of Springville, IN, died Thursday, November 9, 2000, at Bloomington Hospital.   Born on March 27, 1944, in Sommerset, KY, he was the son of Benjamin and Roxie (Bell) Phillips.  Surviving are one son, Mike Phillips of Springville; one granddaughter; two brothers,   Howard and David E. Phillips, both of Springville;  three sisters:  Charlene Banks and Alma Jones, both of Springville, and Aline Nelson of Houston, TX; and his former wife, Patsy Phillips of Bloomington.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Carrie Gregory and Opal Chattman; five brothers:  Glen, R.C., Stanley, Herbert, and Luther Phillips; and his second wife, Carol Bell Phillips. He was a saw operator for Walton Quarry in Guthrie, IN, and formerly worked for CSX Railroad.  He attended Oak Grove Pentecostal Church. Services for Joseph Ray Phillips will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2000, at The Oak Grove Pentecostal Church with Brother Larry Hawkins officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call on Saturday, November 11, 2000, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at The Day & Carter Mortuary and from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at The Oak Grove Pentecostal Church. Ottie M. Phillips of Springville, IN, died Saturday, September 26, 1998, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.  Born on August 16, 1909, in Monticello, KY, she was the daughter of Charlie and Jane (Keith) Thompson.  She married Lee Wesley Phillips on December 23, 1924, and he died December 14, 1971. Surviving are four sons:  the Rev. Wendell Phillips, William and Boyd Phillips, all of Springville, IN, and Danny Phillips of Shoals, IN; four daughters:  Loretta Keseric and Sue Keithley, both of Springville, IN, Evalee Phillips of Williams, IN, and Joyce Godsey of Bedford, IN; two brothers:  Arter Thompson of Springville, IN, and Robert Thompson of Bedford, IN; one sister, Alice Powell of Springville, IN; forty grandchildren, sixty-seven great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Goldie and Hobert Phillips; one daughter, Mossie Martin; three sisters: Lydia, Taylor, Pearlie Kidd, and Bessie Phillips; two brothers, Rathmiel and William Thompson; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of the Springville Pentecostal Mission. Services for Ottie Phillips will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 30th, at the Springville Pentecostal Mission, with the Revs. Alan Phillips and Doug Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, and from noon until the service time on Wednesday at the Springville Pentecostal Mission. Surviving are one daughter, Eleanor Baude Phillips of Bloomington, IN; his mother, Patsy Phillips of Bloomington, IN; his grandfather, James Ethridge of Bloomington, IN; his step-grandmother, Marie Ethridge of Bloomington, IN; and several aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Kimberly Ann Phillips; and his paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Roxie Phillips. He was disabled.  He attended Oak Grove Pentecostal Church in Springville. Services for Michael Phillips will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25th, at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church with Bro.    Nora Aline Nelson-Phillips, 73, died at 12 a.m. April 4 at the Kendrick, Hospital in Houston, Texas. Born Feb. 22, 1936, in Waynesburg, Pulaski County, Ky., she was the daughter of Benjamin Harrison Phillips and Roxie Mae Bell-Phillips. She lived in Houston, Texas, for many years.
   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Pettitt of Bedford, Mrs. Brenda Powell of Monticello, Ky., and Mrs. Treasa Schmidt of Houston, Texas; two sons, Daniel “Danny” Lawton of Springville, and Allen Nelson of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Charlene Banks and Mrs. Alma Jones, both of Springville; one brother, Howard Phillips of Springville; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
   Preceding her in death were her parents; six brothers, Stanley Phillips, R.C. Phillips, David Eugene Phillips, Glen Phillips, Luther Phillips, Joseph Ray Phillips, all of Springville; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Gregory of Bedford; and Opal Phillips of Springville.
   Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church Springville, with Brother Larry Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
