WALTER BAILEY OF BEDFORD INJURED IN A FALL

Walter Bailey, proprietor of the Bailey Service Co., on West 16th Street, Bedford, while working on a school contract at Ellettsville Monday fell from the roof of the building and fractured a bone in his right heel. He was taken to Bloomington where medical attention was given the injury and later was brought home, says the Bedford Democrat of yesterday.

An X-ray examination revealed a serious break and Dr. Mumford, Indianapolis specialist, was summoned to see him at the Dunn Hospital where he was removed this morning. Arriving at noon, he advised an operation after examining the X-ray plate and the injured heel, and Mr. Bailey submitted to this ordeal.
