March 5, 2005 Leigh Ann (Thornburg) Grider, Muncie, IN I am just stunned. I e-mailed Virginia in December. She said she would get back with me after the first of the year. My grandmother Onedia (Gibson) Thornburg is "I think the 4th or 5th" great granddaughter of Garrett Gibson. I found many names that corresponded with Virginia's genealogy. I think we are a missing branch off of her information. I made a promise to my grandmother that I would continue the family history that she and my grandpa started. My grandmother passed away August 15, 2005. If anyone in her family is continuing the awesome work that Virginia started, I would love to correspond with them. I am so sorry for your great loss. Her dedication will live on forever.

I met Virginia ( V ) on the Delaware County Email List, a few years ago, she was always so friendly and helpful.
My sympathy to the family. We do not understand the reasons for having to give up, on this earth, someone we love or care about. No words can help ease the pain, only the comfort of Jesus can do that. It sounds like you were very much loved by Virginia. I did not know her, only knew of her through the web site. We will all miss Virginia and her eagerness to be of help to anyone who ask. May God be with you and help ease the pain and loss you feel at this time.
