The Marriage Records Martin Co. Indiana 1850-1820 lists a marriage between SHAW, Andrew J. and SUMMERS, Elizabeth V. on Nov. 3, 1863 with the original located at County Clerk’s Office, Shoals, Indiana, Book 2, Page 178. Our family records indicate that SHAW, Andrew Jackson and RANEY (Rainey, Riny), Elizabeth Victoria were married on Nov. 3, 1963 in Loogootee, Indiana. Family lore has Elizabeth Victoria Raney born May 2, 1844 in Ky left there at the age of 14 for Indiana. Her parents are believed to be RAINEY, Thomas b. Abt. 1815 in KY and SIMMS, "Sally" Sarah b. Abt. 1820 in KY. they were married Abt. 1838 in KY.
