J.C. Canine, livery and sale stable, Waveland, was b. in Brown Twp, Montgomery Co In Oct 4,1 850 and is the son of William and Martha Canine, who were early settlers of the County. Mr. Canine was raised on a farm, but has been engaged mostly in dealing in stock. He is the owner of a fine livery and sale stable, and keeps a fine assortment of horses and carriages at very cheap rates. In 1872 he marr. Miss Mary E. Burford of Montgomery Co. Mr. Canine is a wide-awake business man and is always ready to attend to business. - typed by kbz
