Huntington - Lizzie
I've "rescued" two old photographs, the first is a photograph of Lizzie HUNTINGTON which was taken at the T. C. Lawrence Studio in Ladoga, Indiana. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with Lizzie noted as 16 years old at the time it was taken. The second photograph is identified as Lizzie HUNTINGTON WARFEL & Mother (Note: Sarah GREGG) and was likely taken in the 1860's at the A. W. Aldrich Studio in Adrian, Michigan, with Lizzie just an infant at the time and her Mother likely in her 30's or 40's.
Based on some basic research and thanks to the help of HUNTINGTON Family Researchers I know the following regarding Lizzie and her family:
Lizzie Gregg HUNTINGTON b. 8 Dec 1862, married Jacob Francis "Frank" WARFEL before 1894 in Ladoga, IN, both died in Ladoga about 1940. Their son George Huntington WARFEL died in Palm Springs, CA in 1961. It appears that descendants may remain in the Sacramento, CA area to this day. Census records provide the following information:
