KIRKPATRICK, John J, PO Browns Valley, Farmer, son of John and Jane Kirkpatrick was born in Fayette Co, Kentucky Oct 31, 1827 and settled on Sec. 23 with his parents in 1834; married first Sarah E. REEVES April 19, 1855 who died Jan 9, 1863, second marriage to Ellen A. SARVIS May 12, 1864 who died Aug 30, 1875. Three children by first wife: Laura J (Now Mrs. JM EADS); Alice B. and John A, both dead; one child by second wife, Henry Martin Kirkpatrick.
