Rev. N.C. McCAY and party departed at 5 o'clock this afternoon for their European trip. In the party were Misses Edna Humphries, Julia Kostanzer, Edith Lane of Chicago, and Messrs. John Kostanzer, Merrit Voris, Lynn Seawright and NC McCay. Miss Flora Schultz went east last week but will join the party in NY from whence they sail at noon next Saturday. The few days intervening will be put in sight seeing in Pittsburg, Washington and NY. They will land at Glasgow and spend a couple of weeks touring Ireland and Scotland. At London they will join a Christian Endeavor party for a trip on the continent taking in the Passion Play at Oberammergan and all the cities and points of interest in Germany, France and italy. They will leave the Christian Endeavor party at Paris and will spend the balance of their time at the exposition leaving there in time to embark home from Glasgow on Aug. 25th. All the party will return at this time except Messrs McCay and Seawright who remain two weeks longer spending time in Ireland.

Nichols C. McCay, taken from naturalization application papers these were in our courthouse many years ago and I think were destroyed b Kingdom Ireland left Belfast, Ireland arriving in US 15 July 1881 (no port given) naturalized (no signature) 8 Nov 1892.
