Here we thought there had always been salted peanuts but it seems that a former Crawfordsville man, John C. WAMPLER, first produced this dainty. He died in Indianapolis on Friday. Any true southern "goober" eater would scorn to have his peanuts roasted, let alone salted. - typed by kbz
