Dr. Forest E. Kirshman, son of Jay Kirshman formerly in charge of the Cuppy Hotel was shot twice by a woman patient, one bullet in the chest and one in the pelvis on Thursday last. The woman afterwards shot herself fatally. She was being treated for cancer and was dissatisfied with her progress. Dr. Kirshman ran to the street and hailed a passing car which took him to Ball Hospital where he is in a precarious condition. He visited here while he was in medical school.
