Dr. Edgar W. Seawright

Dr. Edgar W. Seawright, 26 Raymond Avenue, Danville, Ill., received word of the fatal injury Saturday of his brother, W. Lynn Seawright, 45, of Richmond, Calif., who was struck by an auto while crossing a street in Rich­mond. He lived but a few hours after being injured. W. Lynn Seawright was director of athletics for the city of Rich­mond, having charge of athletics in both the school and. park sys­tems of Richmond, and was well known throughout California as an athletic official. He was a native of Crawfordsville, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Seawright. He was a high-class young man and before go­ing west was engaged in Y. M. C. A. work here. He had a host of close friends. During the World War he acted as a traveling recruiting secretary for the Y. M. C. A. He had not lived in Crawfordsville for several years.
