Brown Twp -- CA Kleiser, of Brown, Republican was born in 1857 at Waveland, Brown Twp which place has always been and is now his legal residence. He acquired his education in the Waveland Collegiate Institute, directing his attention more particularly to those branches which would prepare him for the profession of a school teacher. Since the completion of his education in 1875 he has been engaged in this profession for 19 years, teaching six years in the country schools of Brown Twp and 12 consecutive yers in the public schools of Waveland. In 1878 he took a year's vacation in California and other Western states. He is a Republican in principle and was elected township trustee on this ticket in 1894. He is unmarried and is a son of Joseph Kleiser, with whom he resides at the old Kleiser homestead 1/2 mile east of Waveland. Mr. Kleiser is the handsome member of the new board and is an all around good man. kbz
