Benjamin MISNER

Benjamin I. Misner was born 31 Mar. 1810 in Ohio, the son of William Misner and Catherine Enyart (Inyart). He married Elizabeth Jones, 1 Jan 1835 in Butler County, Ohio. They were parents to seven children, Emily born Ohio, Silas, Amos, Louisa, Joseph, Laura and Sarah all born IN. Amos was killed in battle on 19 Jan 1862 at Mill Springs, KY. Benjamin was Sheriff of Montgomery County, IN from 1853 to 1857. Benjamin died 9 Dec 1893 and Elizabeth died shortly after on 15 Jan 1894. Both are buried Lee Cemetery, Smartsburg, Montgomery County, IN.
