WILLIAM WEBSTER

To the clerk of the Montgomery Circuit Court in the state of Indiana John Webster being an alien and a free white person makes the following report of himself - upon his solemn oath decreas that he is aged 65 years, that he was born in the County of Armagh Ireland that he emigrated from Liverpool in the year 1850 that he arrived in the United State at the city of NY in the state of NY in the month of October 1850 that he owes allegiance to Queen Victoria Queen of Great Brittain and Ireland and that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States of America and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to Queen Victoria as aforesaid of whom he is a subject. John Webster sworn to and subscribed before me, on the 23rd day of October Andrew P. Lynn, Clerk, the above report and Declaration filed and recorded oct 23, 1852 a true record. Attest: Andrew P. Lynn, Clerk Montgomery Circuit Court Vacation 1852 - To the clerk of the Montgomery Circuit Court in the state of Indiana. William Webster being an alien and a free white person makes the following report of himself, upon his solemn oat declares that he is aged 21 years that he was born in the county of Armagh in the Kingdom of Ireland, that he emigrated from Liverpool in the year One thounsand eight hundred and fifty. that he owes allegiance to Victoria Queen of Great Brittain (sic) Ireland & and that it is his bona fide intention to become a citizen of the United States of America and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelty to any prince, potentate state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to Queen Victoria as aforesaid of whom he is a subject. Subscribed and sworn to by Said William Webster - signed William Webster before me Oct 9, 1852 Attest: Wiliam P. Lynn Clerk of Montgomery Circuit Court.
